History has been made in Nigeria today, as at exactly 10.38AM the new President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, was sworn in.
The event was held at the Eagles Square in Abuja the Federal Capital Territory.
He took the oath of office around 10:38am on Monday. The oath was administered by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola.
Earlier, Senator Kashim Shettima was sworn-in as the new Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
He was very bold and courageous when taken the oath of office. His wife, Oluremi was at his side during his coronation.
The moment Tinubu was called to take his oath of office, the entire Eagle Square erupted with popular anthem “ Bola on your mandate we shall stand.”
The Former President, Muhammadu Buhari was with Tinubu as he took his oath of office with all alacrity and zest.
