Political Groups, Tinubu’s Daughter To Lead Mega Market Campaign In Kwara
Adewole urged Nigerians to be focused on picking the right leader in the next election
A political group’s 100% Movement in conjunction with Asiwaju Vanguard Legacy and Tinubu’s daughter, Mrs. Folashade Tinubu-Ojo would tomorrow, Wednesday lead a mega market sensitization campaign in Ilorin, Kwara State.
The rally was said to kick start in Kwara at the M and M event center for the support of All progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in the forthcoming general elections.
Addressing Journalists in Ilorin on Tuesday, the National Chairman of 100% Focus Movement for Jagaban, Dr. Ibrahim Mohammed, said Nigeria would be greater again if Tinubu was elected president in 2023.
He said the country needed a leader that could manage her resources and transform it into a viable nation, which the APC presidential flag-bearer typifies.
The Chairman of the movement, however, warned against the secessionist agitation in parts of the country, saying that the citizens would become refugees if Nigeria disintegrated.
Mr. Mohammed, who added that the mega market campaign was dedicated to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaqAbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of the state because of his purposeful leadership that brought about peaceful coexistence, urged Kwarans to reelect him on account of his incredible performance in office.
Also speaking, the National Chairman, The Asiwaju Legacy Vanguard, Idris Adewole, described Tinubu as the architect of modern Lagos, pointing out that he laid down the structure and turned the state into one of the best economies in Africa when he held sway as Governor of the state.
Mr. Adewole urged Nigerians to be focused on picking the right leader in the next election just as he maintained that the leadership qualities of the former Lagos State Governor gave birth to APC as a formidable party in the country.
The South West Coordinator of 100% Focus Movement and Director General, Asiwaju Legacy Vanguard, Sulaimon Olatunji, appealed to the citizens to see the election of Tinubu in the forthcoming presidential poll as a watershed in the annals of the nation.
The group also said among dignitaries expected at the event include; the Speaker, of Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Danladi Salihu; Chairman of the state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prince Sunday Fagbemi; Director General, state APC Campaign Council, Ambassador Abdulfatai Yahaya Seriki.
