Yinka Aluko Mourns Senator Rafiu Ibrahim

Ilorin, Kwara State– Hon. Ahmed Yinka Aluko, PhD, the lawmaker representing Ilorin East/South Federal Constituency, has mourned the passing of Senator Dr. Rafiu Ibrahim.
Ibrahim died on Wednesday morning, aged 58, after a brief illness.
He was chairman of the senate committee on banking, insurance and other financial institutions in the 8th National Assembly.
Reacting to the news of his death, Aluko, in a statement on Wednesday, described the deceased as a man of integrity, whose service would continue to inspire many people.
The statement read; “My deepest condolences on the passing of Senator Dr. Rafiu Ibrahim. His contributions to our nation, both as a distinguished Senator and as a dedicated public servant, will always be remembered with admiration and respect.
“Senator Ibrahim’s unwavering commitment to the betterment of our society has left an indelible mark on our hearts and minds. May his legacy of integrity, compassion, and service continue to inspire us all.
“My thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time.
“May they find comfort in cherished memories and the knowledge that Senator Ibrahim’s legacy will endure as a beacon of hope and inspiration,” he added.
