Workers’ Day: Asoju Odo Lauds Workers, Urges Federal Govt To Resolve Issues With ASUU

Workers can not even survive on the minimum wage anymore due to the harsh economy.

A leading House of Reps Aspirant of  Young Progressives Party YPP, in Irepodun/Isin/Ekiti/Oke-Ero Federal Constituency Comr. Charles Olufemi Folayan has felicitated with workers and labour unions on workers day.

In a statement to mark Workers’ Day, observed every May 1, Mr Folayan ‘Asoju Odo’  praised workers for sustaining both the public and private sectors despite various challenges confronting them.

“I want to use this medium to felicitate with all workers in our constituency on this year’s worker’s day. We are all aware of the various challenges confronting us in our state and the country, especially the local government and state workers. We must continue to appreciate ourselves for sustaining both the public and private sectors despite the hardship.

Asoju Odo appeals to the Federal Government to resolve issues with ASUU and return all students to classrooms.

However, he urged workers in the State to stand up and change the situation in 2023 by electing leaders with capacity and good antecedent in order to secure the future of the children.
