Police Arrest 10 Yoruba Nation Agitators In Lagos 

A massive protest camp was promptly dislodged

No fewer than 10 Yoruba Nation agitators have been arrested on Sunday by the Lagos state police command over a planned massive protest in the state.

The spokesperson for the Lagos state police command, Benjamin Hundeyin,  on Sunday said the suspects were arrested earlier today in Alausa.

He said they had begun setting up camps in Alausa to use the base to launch a massive protest.

According to him, the camp was promptly dislodged while the agitators were arrested, saying that investigation continued.

“Earlier to several of Yoruba Nation agitators commenced setting up camp at Alausa, planned to be used as a base to launch a massive protest camp was promptly dislodged while agitators were arrested.”

He said Investigation continues at SCID. Lawlessness will not be tolerated.

“Protests that started with this format, in Lagos, always snowballed into infringement of the rights of others, destruction of property & difficult-to-manage situations.
