One Dead, Several Injured As Suspected Cultists Clash In Kwara Community

Ilorin, Kwara State– A clash between a suspected cult group has left one person dead, and several others injured in Ballah a community in Eiyekorin, Asa local government of Kwara State.
Afrika Eyes gathered that many houses were burned as a result of the clash among the cultist member.
The violent incident that occurred on Monday, April 29, 2024, has raised concerns about the increase in cult-related violence in the state.
When contacted, the spokesperson for the state command, Toun Ejire-Adeyemi, stated that the DPO in the area is currently handling the situation. She added that she will provide further information later.
