Kwara Nursing Student Battles Kidney Failure, Family Seeks N35m For Transplant

Ilorin, Kwara State – The family of Yusuf Salamat, a 200-level student at the College of Nursing, Oke-Ode, is seeking urgent financial assistance to fund a life-saving kidney transplant.
According to her father, Ibrahim Yusuf Abdulrasaq, Salamat has been battling kidney failure and requires a transplant to survive.
A medical report from Kwara State University Teaching Hospital confirms the necessity of the procedure.
The total cost of the transplant and associated medical expenses is estimated at Thirty-Five Million Naira (N35,000,000), a sum the family cannot afford. After exhausting their personal resources, they are appealing to kindhearted individuals, corporate bodies, and humanitarian organizations for support.
