IBB Ex-Spokesman, Duro Onabule Is dead

A veteran journalist and a Chief Press Secretary of former Military President, General Ibrahim Babangida, Chief Duro Onabule is dead.

Onabule was born in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, on September 27, 1939, and died at the age of 83.

Afrika Eyes gathered that the news of his death was disclosed through Chief Eric Teniola, a close associate of Onabule’s family, who wrote, “Chief Duro Onabule died on Tuesday evening”.

Although, the cause of his death is unknown as he was said to be hale and hearty a few days ago.

The late chief attended CMS Grammar School and School of Journalism in London.
