Customs Officer Found Dead After Night With Three Women In Katsina Hotel

Katsina State– A Customs officer, identified as Assistant Superintendent of Customs (ASC) Lawal Tukur, was found dead in a hotel room in Katsina metropolis after allegedly spending the night with three women.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, October 15, at Murjani Hotel, located in the heart of Katsina city.
Meanwhile, hotel staff reportedly discovered the officer’s lifeless body at about 8:30 a.m. and immediately alerted authorities.
Security expert Zagazola Makama confirmed the incident on Thursday, disclosed that some empty sachets of suspected substances were found in the waste basket of the room where the officer lodged.
Investigations revealed that three women — identified as Khadija Ali, 34, of Dutsin Amare Quarters, Katsina; Aisha Lawal, 30, of Ingawa Local Government Area; and Hafsat Yusuf, 22, of Brigade Quarters, Kano — were present in the hotel at the time of the incident.
It was gathered that Khadija and Aisha had spent the night with the deceased, while Hafsat joined them later and also booked a room in the same hotel.
The officer’s body was taken to the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Katsina, where he was confirmed dead by a medical doctor and deposited at the hospital mortuary for autopsy.
Authorities of the Nigeria Customs Service have reportedly been notified of the development.
