BREAKING: Tinubu Appoints Bianca Ojukwu, Six Others As Ministers After FEC Meeting
Bianca Odinaka Odumegu-Ojukwu was appointed as the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs,
Abuja, Nigeria- President Bola Tinubu has appointed Bianca Odinaka Odumegw-Ojukwu, widow of the late Biafran leader Colonel Odumegwu Ojukwu, alongside six other individuals to serve as ministers.
The appointments were confirmed through a statement issued by the presidency following Wednesday’s Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.
Earlier, Afrika Eyes reported that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has dismissed five ministers, including the Minister of Education, Prof. Tahir Mamman SAN OON, and the Minister of Women Affairs, Barr. Uju-Ken Ohanenye.
Also affects Lola Ade-John, the Minister of Tourism; Abdullahi Muhammad Gwarzo, the Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development; and Dr. Jamila Bio Ibrahim, the Minister of Youth Development.
Bianca Odinaka Odumegu-Ojukwu was appointed as the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, while Jumoke Oduwole has been named the Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment.
Other appointments include Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi as Minister of Labour and Employment; Idi Mukhtar Maiha as Minister of Livestock Development; Hon. Yusuf Abdullahi Ata as Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development; and Suwaiba Said Ahmad as Minister of State for Education.
