United Kingdom: Bisola Ajimobi Kola-Daisi, the first child of the late former governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi, has passed away.
She reportedly died in the early hours of Thursday in the United Kingdom at the age of 42.
Until her passing, Bisola served as the Special Adviser to the Minister of Budget and Planning, Atiku Bagudu.
Bisola was married to Kolapo Kola-Daisi and was a respected figure in political and social circles.
Her husband, Kolapo Kola-Daisi, a politician and bank executive, confirmed her passing on social media.
He wrote, “The world has lost a shining star. Bisola was not just my wife; she was my partner in everything. Her spirit will live on in our children.”
The late Bisola was a businesswoman and philanthropist. She served as the Managing Director of Grandex Nigeria Ltd., a prominent retail and wholesale chain founded in 1984.
She was also the founder of Florence H. Luxury Boutique, where she made a name for herself in the fashion industry.
Her death was also confirmed by Bolaji Tunji, former Special Adviser to Governor Ajimobi, who informed journalists in Ibadan on Thursday.
