Bandits Shoot Man, Kidnap Wife, Daughter In Zamfara

Gunmen suspected to be bandits shot a man identified as Mallam Mannir Abubakar and kidnapped his wife and daughter in Gusau, Zamfara State.

It was gathered that the suspected bandits stormed Abubakar’s residence located at the back of Karma hotel and attempted to abduct him and his family members in the early hours of Wednesday, March 29, 2023.

Meanwhile, Abubakar resisted the kidnap, which he said made the gunmen shoot at him and later kidnapped his wife and daughter.

Abubakar is receiving treatment at a hospital in Gusau, the state capital, due to the injuries he sustained from the gunshot.

The whereabouts of the kidnapped family members are not yet known.
