Aluko Organises Inauguration Prayer For Constituents, Promises Good Representation

Gratefulness and Dedication to Constituents, Honoring the Mandate

The newly elected House of Representatives member for  Ilorin South/East Federal Constituency of Kwara State, Hon Hon. Ahmed Yinka Aluko‘ has organised an inaugural prayer and special thanksgiving for his constituents to show appreciation for their support.

Aluko, who mobilised members of his constituency to his country home in Ilorin on Saturday for the prayers, express  gratitude to all who attended the inauguration prayers and reception, commemorating the beginning of his legislative assignment.

Speaking with stakeholders at the gathering, Aluko gives thanks to Almighty Allah and also expresses his heartfelt appreciation to the Executive Governor Of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, national and state elected officials, Hon. Maryam Aladi and Hon. Lawal Ariola, who represent Ilorin South and Ilorin East respectively at the State House of Assembly.

He said, “With courage and a hopeful spirit, I pledge to credibly advocate for your interests and work tirelessly on your behalf.

“I’m so happy that you all came en-mass,  the journey was rough as we encountered many challenges but you all stood by me during days and nights with your support and prayers in the end we trump.

“Today, we gather here to appreciate all of you who played one role or the other in the efforts that yielded a victory for us, I promise that I will not betray the trust you have in me.

“Basically, we are here today to offer our unique thanks to God almighty and also appreciate some key partners, I assure you that where you sent me to represent you, by God’s grace I will not disappoint you,” Aluko added.

According to him, “My fellow lawmakers from our beloved state and I have been entrusted with a mandate and responsibilities that we must diligently fulfill. We made promises during the campaign to genuinely represent you at the National Assembly, and you granted us the victory. We must live up to your expectations.

“I want to emphasize the core message of my campaign slogan, “Your voice, my Mandate.” Rest assured that I will remain attentive to your observations, complaints, and criticisms. Our journey together did not commence yesterday; you have consistently shown unwavering support and affection over an extensive period. As I embark on representing your voice in the lower chamber of the National Assembly, I am resolute in my commitment to never let you down.

While appreciation the Emir of Ilorin, His Royal Highness Alh. Ibraheem Sulugambari (OFR), and the esteemed traditional chiefs from Balogun Fulani, Balogun Afin, and others, for their presence and support. He also extend his thanks to the Olusin of Ijara Isin, fondly known as “the Lion King of Ijara Isin,” Oba Ademola.

Some of the Islamic clerics, including the chief Imam Imole, Alh. Abdullah Abdulhameed, Imam Maraba, Khalifat Oke-Aluko, Sheik murtadoh Sakama, Imam Idi-Isin.

Other dignitaries at the event include; an APC leader represented by Governor AbdulRazaq, Hon. Chief Justice S. D. Kawu (Rtd), Justice H.T. Kawu, APC state party secretary, Alh. Mustapha Ishowo, Raheem Adedoyin and APC executive members at the Local Government and ward levels, among others.
