KOPAN Mourns Death Of Veteran Journalist, Mallam Issa Soliu

He was a core professional and patriot who remained true to the ethics

Kwara Online Media Publisher has commiserated with the families and associates of veteran journalist Mallam Issa Soliu, the publisher of Nigeriarealnews.

Mallam Soliu, a vice-chairman of KOPAN, died on Tuesday after a brief illness.

In a condolence statement signed by the Chairman and Public Relations Officer of the association, Hammed Adedayo Said and Sulyman Ahmad Bolaji respectively described the demise of Mallam Soliu as a great loss to the group.

The statement read in part “This, indeed, is one sad news too many. The death is a huge loss to the Journalism profession, Kwara and Nigeria as a whole. He was known for his vast dissemination of real news in the simplest form possible for his audience.
