Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State, on Monday, described the death of the Onijagbo Oba Salawudeen Olagunju Adeyeye Fagbemi (Obembe II) as a huge loss.

A statement by the chief press secretary to the governor, Rafiu Ajakaye, indicated that the governor commiserated with the people of Ijagbo on the death of the Onijagbo Oba Salawudeen Olagunju Adeyeye Fagbemi (Obembe II).

The revered monarch died at the age of 110.

“Our heartfelt condolences go to the Oyun Traditional Council, the good people of Ijagbo, and the immediate and extended families of His Royal Highness. We especially mourn with the learned silk Prince Lateef Fagbemi and his siblings on this loss,” the Governor said.
