24-Year-Old KWASU Student Declared Missing

He could not be found on Friday, February 16th, when he was supposed to write a test.

Ilorin, Kwara State- A 24-year-old computer engineering student, Jimoh Abdulmueez, has been reported missing since Thursday, February 15, 2024.

Jimoh, was last seen at about 7:00pm on Thursday, Feb. 15, when he reportedly left the university campus in Malete for his home in Ilorin.

It was gathered that he could not be found on Friday, February 16th, when he was supposed to write a test.

His friends decided to call his phone number, but it was not answered after several attempts.

He, however, called the parents who said they did not see him at home.

The missing student’s parents visited the school but were unable to find him.

“When efforts to find him proved abortive, his parents reported the matter to the police station on Friday, February 16th. However, there has been no update since then.

His mother, Mrs. Jimoh Amdalat, appealed to any member of the public with information about his whereabouts to call 07030889682.

The Spokesperson of the state police command, DSP Ejire Adeyemi Toun, when contacted, said the police had begun an investigation into the matter.
