Voter Registration: New Registrants Now 10.4m, Says INEC

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released  Quarter 4, WK 11 update of the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR).

Figures released by the Chief Press Secretary to the INEC chairman, Rotimi Oyekanmi, as at 7am, on  Monday, said the number of fresh registrants is10,487,972 while those who completed registration stood at 8,631,696.

According to the figures, online registration is 3,250,449 while physical registration is 5,381,247.

The classification of the fresh registrants showed that number of male registrants is 4,292,690 while females are 4,339,006.

Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) are 67,171 while the number of youth stood at 6,081,456.
