Kano State– Two suspects have been apprehended for allegedly stealing a police station signpost in the Bachirawa area of Ungogo Local Government Area, Kano State.
It was gathered that the arrest was made by local residents, whose cooperation was pivotal in assisting the police.
The spokesperson for the Kano State Police Command, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, confirmed the arrests on Wednesday, expressing gratitude to the Bachirawa community for their vigilance and support.
“We are thankful to the people of Bachirawa,” SP Kiyawa said.
The suspects are currently in police custody, with investigations ongoing. The Kano police have reiterated their commitment to ensuring the safety and security of all residents in the state.
