Troops Nabs Dorathy Jonathan’s Murderer In Southern Kaduna

He approached Mrs. Dorathy while she was working on a farmland and attempted to force an intimate encounter

In a significant development aimed at ensuring justice for victims of crime in Southern Kaduna, the troops of Operation SAFE HAVEN (OPSH) have arrested the murderer of Mrs. Dorathy Jonathan.

The incident occurred on September 1, 2023, when Mrs. Jonathan was brutally murdered while collecting firewood in Afana village, Zango Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

The culprit, identified as Lot Dauda, confessed to committing the heinous crime in collaboration with an accomplice whose identity is being withheld, and who is currently evading capture. The swift action taken by OPSH was driven by credible intelligence, leading to Lot Dauda’s arrest.

According to the murderer’s confession, he approached Mrs. Dorathy while she was working on a farmland and attempted to force an intimate encounter, resulting in a violent struggle that ultimately led to her tragic demise.

Efforts are now underway to apprehend the remaining accomplice, whose identity remains undisclosed at this time.

Lot Dauda, the captured suspect, will face legal proceedings once the ongoing investigation is completed.
