Tribunal: Obi, LP Unable to Prove Tinubu’s US Conviction

The Presidential Election Petitions Court on Wednesdays, declared that the Labour Party (LP) and its presidential contender, Peter Obi, did not succeed in substantiating President Bola Tinubu’s alleged money laundering conviction in the United States within their case.

Justice Haruna Tsammani, heading a five-member panel, delivered a verdict stating that the petitioners, namely Obi and the LP, failed to establish any records of criminal arrest or conviction against Tinubu.
