Terrorists Kill Kaduna Community Leader, Abduct Others

Some terrorists were reported to have invaded the Unguwan Liman community in Birnin-Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State, killed a community leader and abducted scores of residents in the area.
A resident of the area, Malam Uban Marayu, who confirmed the attack to newsmen on Monday, April 17, 2023, said the gunmen invaded the community in huge numbers around 10.00 pm on Sunday.
“They came Sunday around 10.00 pm. They struck at the periphery of Birnin-Gwari where they killed Maiunguwa at Unguwan Liman, 3 kilometres from Birnin-Gwari town,” he said.
“An unspecified number of people were kidnapped (males and females). In the nearby Kwanan Shehu community they looted shops only. May the mercy and protection of Allah continue to be with us,”
