Police Arrest Six Suspected Cultists In Delta
One locally made cut-to-size double barrel gun, six expended cartridges and one 9mm live ammunition was recovered from the suspects.
Delta State Police commands have arrested six suspected cultists along Asaba-Benin Expressway in Okpanam.
The suspects include Sunday Okafor Destiny, Stephen Osamota Pius and four others.
One locally-made cut-to-size double barrel gun, six expended cartridges and one 9mm live ammunition was recovered from the suspects.

The Commissioner of Police, CP Ari Muhammed Ali confirmed the report in a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe.
He said the police, while on investigation activities along the road, intercepted some hoodlums suspected to be cultists.

According to DSP Edafe, “The suspects on sighting the team took to their heels, but the team chased them and in the process, arrested six of the suspects”
He said, “investigation is ongoing.”
