Police Arrest Notorious Kidnap Kingpin, 5 Others In FCT Hotel

The members of the notorious syndicate were responsible for the abduction of one Joshua Eze,

Abuja, Nigeria– Men of  the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command have arrested six members of a notorious kidnap syndicate behind the recent abduction of Joshua Eze in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The arrests took place during a strategic operation at a hotel in Bassa Village, in the capital city.

The suspects were identified as; Buhari Muhammad ‘m’ 20 yrs, a wanted kidnap kingpin; Muhammad Sabiu ‘m’ 20 yrs, Isah Abdullahi ‘m’, Hamzat Musa ‘m’ 21 yrs, Fatima Abdullahi ‘f’ 22yrs and Zuliat Yusuf ‘f’ 23 yrs were arrested by the Anti-Kidnapping Unit of the FCT Police Command.

In a statement released on  Monday, February 5, 2024, the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, stated that items recovered from the suspects included an AK47 rifle, 10 mobile phones, a cash sum of 345,000 naira, and other valuables.

According to her, the suspects have confessed to the crime and other kidnapping incidents in the Territory.

She added that the members of the notorious syndicate were responsible for the abduction of one Joshua Eze, the husband to Blessing Eze who suffered a bullet injury in the process of her husband’s abduction on January 27 and was subsequently rescued unhurt by police operatives of the Command on January 28.

j3 1707161659“One AK47 rifle, 10 mobile phones, cash sum of three hundred and forty-five thousand naira and some other valuables were recovered from the suspects who have since confessed to the crime and other kidnapping incidents in the Territory.
