Police Arrest Man For Stealing Cattle Worth Of N7m In Gombe
The suspect is currently in police custody and will be charged in court
The Gombe police command has arrested a 30-year-old resident of Bandila village in Gulani Local Government Area of Yobe State, Sale Kabo, for rustling cattle worth N7 million.
In a statement by the command Public Relations Officer, ASP Mahid Abubakar, said Kabo stole the cattle at Funakaye Local Government Area of the state.
The suspect was arrested after the case was reported by Jauro Ahmadu, a 75-year-old of Shuwari village in Bajoga in Funakaye LGA to the Bajoga Divisional Police headquarters.
“After conducting a thorough investigation, Sale Kabo was arrested in connection with the theft which he confessed. All the stolen cows and other relevant exhibits were recovered.
“The suspect is currently in police custody and will be charged in court as soon as the investigation is concluded.”
