Kwara Govt, RTEAN Collaborate To Boost Transport Sector

Ilorin, Kwara State– The Technical Assistant on Transport Matters to the Kwara State Governor, Hon. Musibau Shola Abubakar, has met with the Kwara State Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN) and expressed the readiness of the State government to collaborate with transport sector in the State.

During the visit, the officials, led by Hon. Abubakar, alongside the Chairman of the State Assembly Commission, Hon. Femi Yussuf, engaged with the Chairman of RTEAN, Alhaji Abdulrahman Olayinka Onikijipa, and his Executive team.

Hon. Abubakar assured the RTEAN Chairman and his team of the governor’s readiness and determination to collaborate with the union.

The officials discussed potential areas of collaboration and development initiatives that will enhance the efficiency of the transport system in the state.

The RTEAN Chairman expressed appreciation for the gesture and pledged their cooperation to work towards the common goal of improving the transport landscape in the state.

He expressed the union’s readiness to synergize on refocusing and reorganizing the transport sector in Kwara state in line with the state government’s vision and aspirations.
