Kwara Gov Commiserates With APC Chieftain Engr. Adeyemi Over Father’s Death

In a statement on Sunday, the Governor described the late Balogun as a great man who invested in human capital and community development, and was known for standing for what is right.

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has commiserated with a chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Engineer Nurudeen Adeyemi on the death of his father and Balogun of Esie Land Alhaji Shuaib Adeniyi Adeyemi.

The Balogun died on Sunday at the age of 93.

In a statement on Sunday, the Governor described the late Balogun as a great man who invested in human capital and community development and was known for standing for what is right.

“Our hearts go out to Engineer Adeyemi, his siblings and the people of Esie Kingdom on this sad development. As faithful, I urge them to take it with equanimity and absolute submission to the will of Allah. Survived by very successful children who have distinguished themselves in community service, we are comforted that the Balogun was indeed a fulfilled man,” the statement said.
