CP Salman Dogo Garba, commended Mohammed for his remarkable integrity.

Kano State- A 36-year-old commercial driver, Safiyanu Mohammed, has returned a lost bag containing a significant amount of money to the police in Kano State.

It was gathered that the driver, a resident of Rangaza Quarters in Ungogo local government area, discovered the bag on Friday, August 9, 2024, at Hadejia Road by Dakata Junction.

In a statement released on Sunday, the spokesman of the Kano State Police Command, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, disclosed that the bag, which contained a large sum of cash, had no identification or contact information, making it difficult to trace the owner.

He stated that the Kano State Police Command has issued a public appeal for the owner to come forward and urged anyone with information to assist in reuniting the bag with its rightful owner.
