IEDPU Lauds Governor AbdulRazaq For Naming Court House After Justice Saidu Kawu
Abdulmalik noted that Justice Kawu played a key role in shaping the Kwara judiciary and was known for his integrity and impartiality.
Ilorin, Kwara State– The Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (IEDPU) has commended Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, for honoring the late Justice Saidu Kawu by naming a proposed court house in Ilorin after him.
In a statement on Saturday, IEDPU National President, Alhaji Abdulmumini Ayo Abdulmalik, praised the governor’s recognition of Justice Kawu’s contributions to the state’s judiciary.
The statement, signed by the union’s National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Nurudeen Ibrahim, stated Justice Kawu’s legacy as Kwara’s pioneer Chief Judge and a former Supreme Court Justice.
Abdulmalik noted that Justice Kawu played a key role in shaping the Kwara judiciary and was known for his integrity and impartiality.
He described the governor’s gesture as a motivation for citizens to uphold patriotism and excellence.
The IEDPU leader also wished Governor AbdulRazaq a peaceful and successful tenure.
