Hon. Gbenga Power Distributes Foodstuffs Worth Millions To People In Kwara

Kwara State– Hon. Gbenga Oyekunle, Chairman of the Gbenga Power Foundation,  brought smiles to the people of Kwara South, as he donated food items, to celebrate Christmas.

The event, held at ECWA Secondary School in Igbaja, Ifelodun Local Government, attracted participants from all Seven Local Government Areas of Kwara South.

The Gbenga Power Foundation is an organization that has over the past 10years has persistently sought to assist the downtrodden in the rural areas in Kwara by providing them succour at all times with the mandate of putting smile on the faces of the people and also providing infrastructural aids to different rural communities.

The founder and Chairman of the Gbenga Power Foundation, Hon. Gbenga Power, happily expressed his gratitude for the presence of dignitaries and other attendees, praying that God may bless them all.

He further stated that the good work has just started. “We are doing this to give back to society, not for politics, and we will continue to do it.”

The Ifelodun TIC Chairman and Kwara State ALGON Chairman, Hon. Jide Ashonibare, expressed gratitude as the Chief Host, thanking the convener and founder of Gbenga Power Foundation for numerous interventions across Ifelodun Local Government and beyond.

Hon. Jide Ashonibare commended His Excellency, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, for the good work of his administration and the opportunity given to TIC members. He acknowledged the presence of dignitaries, adding bliss and color to the program.

The Honourable member representing Omupo constituency, Hon AGF Salaudeen, praised Hon. Gbenga Power for educational support, boreholes, and philanthropy. He urged him to continue, emphasizing Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq’s achievements and soliciting support.

Chief Sunday Fagbemi, the Kwara State APC chairman, thanked Hon Gbenga Power, urging him to continue empowering and helping Kwarans. He encouraged APC members to unite, emphasizing the need to share foodstuffs with the less privileged across Ifelodun, Offa, and Oyun Local Governments.

In attendance at the epoch making events were, Prince Sunday Fagbemi, the Kwara State APC chairman; the honourable representing Omupo constituency at the Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon AGF Salahuddeen; Hon Jide Asonibare, Ifelodun TIC Chairman, Hon Ishowo, the Kwara State secretary, Kwara State Youth Leader and host others.
