Gunmen Kill One, Others Missing After Attack In Kwara Community
The gunmen shot indiscriminately, and shoot the deceased in his chest
Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have attacked and killed one Mr. T. O. Adeyemi, a School Supporting Officer (SSO) of Isin Local Government Education Authority in Isin Local Government Area of Kwara State.
The incident occurred along the Ijara-Isanlu road, it was gathered that the victim was on his way home around 5:30 pm on Tuesday, May 16, 2023.
An eyewitness said that the gunmen shot indiscriminately, and shoot the deceased in his chest which resulted in his death.
Two drivers, one Mr. Taye (a.k.a. Kokoro) and one Mr. Rotimi had been missing. Their vehicle was found on the spot empty with traces of a bullet on the car.
The Kwara State Police command spokesperson, SP Okasanmi Ajayi confirms the incident to Afrika Eyes on Wednesday morning.
“One person was killed, one still missing according to the information available, police men were drafted to the scene yesterday, I will push out the details as soon as it is available please,” he said.
