The Transition Committee Chairman of Mangu Local Government Area, Markus Artu, has confirmed the horrifying murder.
He strongly condemned the act, describing it as ‘barbaric’ and ‘a deliberate act by hoodlums to plunge the council into another round of chaos.’
Artu said that security operatives are actively pursuing the perpetrators of this heinous crime.
He noted that the people of Mangu have united in their determination to live peacefully with one another, regardless of tribe or religion. They are resolute in not allowing anyone to sow discord among them.
