Female Corps Member Slumps, Dies In Kebbi

Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State– A female member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Tayachibiyacha Ebal, serving in Dakingari, Kebbi State, has died after collapsing unexpectedly.
It was gathered that the incident reportedly occurred earlier this month.
Ebal was initially rushed to the camp clinic in Dakingari and later transferred to the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) in Birnin-Kebbi for advanced care.
However, she passed away while receiving medical attention.
The deceased, a native of Hong Local Government Area in Adamawa State, was laid to rest last week in her hometown.
Confirming the incident, the spokesman for the Kebbi State Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, Comrade Nurudeen Bala Fingiller, extended condolences on behalf of the NYSC and the ministry.
He also acknowledged the support provided by the Governor of Kebbi State in facilitating the burial arrangements.
He said, “Consequently, I want to use this medium to pay a condolence message to His Excellency and all our teeming youths, on behalf of NYSC and the Kebbi State Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, on this irreparable loss.
“I further appreciate the effort and financial support by His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kebbi State, which helped in facilitating the burial arrangement by both the ministry and the family of the deceased,” he added.
