Charles Folayan Partners COED Oro, Donated Cash, Commences Renovation Of Training Centre

The Founder of the Asoju Odo Youth Development Center and YPP aspirant for the Irepodun/Isin/Ekiti/Oke-Ero Federal Constituency Charles Olufemi Folayan has adopted the Kwara State College of Education Oro, for the trainings and developments of youths of the constituency.

At the second meeting held with the management team of the college yesterday, Charles said, he adopted the school to sponsor more youths and students to compliment what he is already doing at his Asoju Odo Youth Development Center located at Ekan-Meje.

He said, if the college is well funded by government and other stakeholders would serve as a grooming ground for teachers and young entrepreneurs in the constituency.

“We have adopted this college because of it strategic location and the role the college has being playing. I have no doubt that if this school is well funded, it would be a suitable grooming ground for young entrepreneurs and resourceful teachers, especially those of them that we couldn’t accommodate at our youth center in Ekan”

“My support for this school today is not political but imperative. My mother and sisters once passed through this school and many other students from our constituency and neighboring local governments and states have been here and some are still here”

“One would expect that this college would have turned to a world class institution, being the only functional public higher institution in our constituency, but we are starting little today and by the grace of God we would make great impact here.”

He then donated a token for the machine tools and commenced the renovation of the agriculture training laboratory in the school immediately.

Responding to Asoju Odo Charles, the Provost of the College , Prof. Aremu Mukaila expressed gratitude to him for his gesture on behalf of the management of the college, he prayed that God reward him and crown his efforts.

The meeting was also attended by the School Registrar, Oba Isiaka Agaka, HOD Agric Mr. Jolayemi O. and other top management team of the School.
