BREAKING: AfDB President, Adesina Rejects Offer To Run For Presidency

I am very touched by all who have gone to a great extent, with such huge sacrifices, of their own volition, to consider me worthy to be proposed for potential consideration

Akinwunmi Adesina, the President of the African Development Bank (AfDB), has rejected the offer of running for the presidency.

It would be recalled that almost 28 groups had purchased and submitted the nomination form worth 100 million of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on behalf of Adesina.

Mr Adesina, in a statement on Tuesday morning, maintained that he is not running for president.
