Aluko Rep Elect Congratulates Christians On Easter Celebrations

The house of Representatives Member Elect for the Ilorin East/South Federal Constituency, Hon Ahmed Yinka Aluko have congratulated Christain faithful on the occasion of this year’s Easter around the world especially his constituency.

Aluko in a statement from his office on Friday, April 7, 2023, said the period is another opportunity to reflect on the sacrifice that Jesus Christ made for the world when he surrendered his life on the cross.

According to him, “It is during this period from Lent to Easter Monday that Christians mostly exhibit the virtues of love, sacrifice, altruism and forgiveness as exemplified by Jesus Christ during His ministry on earth that spanned a period of three and a half years.

“It is a day that reminds us that leadership comes with sacrifice, love and selflessness, and I am fulfilled with your love, understanding and support toward peaceful coexistence in our darling state.

“I hereby reiterate my pledge to make your voice my mandate and to bring a credible representative closer to the people of our darling constituency,” the statement read.
