Kwara Govt To Support 359 Business Owners In Kwapreneuer 4.0

Ilorin, Kwara State– The Kwara State Government, through the Kwara State Social Investment Programmes (KWASSIP), is set to provide substantial business support to 359 Entrepreneurs in the state.

This is contained in a statement by the General Manager, KWASSIP, Dr Abdulwasiu Olayinka Tejidini, on Tuesday, December 12, 2023.

Tejidini said that 359 business owners have been selected, having completed all the stages to qualify for the non-interest loans under Kwapreneuer 4. 0.

“The Governor will on Thursday 14th of December present cheques of varying amounts of non-interest loans to 359 successful young businesses in the state,” the statement quoted KWASSIP General Manager Dr Abdulwasiu Olayinka Tejidini as saying.

“This is following the recommendation of the assessment committee. Some other 10 out of the above will pitch for the maximum category of N1,000, 000 — N3,000,000 each at the grand finale.

“This is another intervention by the government to support enterprise and industry, deepen innovation, and get young people sustainably empowered in the state,” he added.

It would be recalled that the program started in 2021, Kwapreneurs has funded about a thousand Kwara-based business owners in three editions.
