AbdulRazaq Celebrates Osimhen, Oshoala’s Triumph At CAFAwards2023
We are indeed excited about these great achievements that have once again put Nigeria
Ilorin, Kwara State – The Kwara State Governor and Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, on Tuesday, joined compatriots and football fans across Nigeria to celebrate the incredible feats of our star players Victor Osimhen and Asisat Oshoala as they were named African Players of the Year in the male and female categories respectively at the #CAFAwards2023.
AbdulRazaq, said in a historic moment, that this marks the first time in 24 years that Nigeria has produced both the male and female Players of the Year simultaneously, showcasing the country’s football prowess on the continental stage.
The Governor extended his heartfelt congratulations to Nnadozie Chiamaka for emerging Goalkeeper of the Year (female category) and to the Super Falcons on the award of National Team of the Year.
“We are indeed excited about these great achievements that have once again put Nigeria on the continental map of football. We will continue to support our talents to secure more wins,” he said.
