AbdulRazaq Boosts Omu-Aran Healthcare With Cutting-Edge Gear
The directive of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq is to make sure all state hospitals are adequately equipped
Ilorin, Kwara State– The Kwara State Hospital Management Board has furnished General Hospital, Omu-Aran, with three state-of-the-art laboratory devices, the deployment is part of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s commitment to universal health coverage, aims to bring quality medical services closer to the people of Kwara.
The Chief Medical Director of General Hospital, Dr. Oguntoye, gratefully received the Hematology Analyzer, Chemistry Analyzer, and Electrolyte Analyzer. These advanced tools are poised to diminish the need for patients to travel extensively in search of affordable healthcare, aligning with the administration’s vision of accessible and top-notch medical services.
Expressing optimism about the impact of the equipment, Dr Oguntoye emphasized that the move would significantly improve service delivery to the residents of Omu-Aran and its neighbouring communities.
The introduction of these analyzers ensures that a myriad of laboratory tests can now be conducted locally, sparing patients the inconvenience of journeying to Ilorin for such services.
“The directive of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq is to make sure all state hospitals are adequately equipped so healthcare service accessibility is made as seamless as possible. We have been engaging the chief medical directors of each hospital and community leaders so we can meet the specific needs of each community.”
Dr Malik assured that, in due course, all state hospitals would be equipped to ensure seamless healthcare service accessibility across Kwara State.
