Governor AbdulRazaq Appoints Visitation Panels For State-Owned CoEds

The visitation panels are granted a total of eight (8) weeks to submit their reports

Ilorin, Kwara State– Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has granted his approval for the establishment of visitation panels to improve the quality and efficiency of the three publicly-owned Colleges of Education in the state.

In a statement released by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Rafiu Ajakaye, on Thursday, October 19, 2023, said the affected schools are the Kwara State Colleges of Education Ilorin, Oro, and Lafiagi (Technical), each having its own panel.

The Visitation Panel for CoEd Ilorin comprises the following members: Professor Kpotun Mohammed Baba, serving as the chairman; Alhaji Kuranga Omomeji Idowu; Mrs. Shera Kperogi; Dr. Zubair Ibrahim Tswachi; Dr. Olayinka Olowonirejuaro; and Dr. Fashiku C.O., who holds the position of Secretary.

According to the statement, for CoEd Oro, the Governor has appointed the following: Prof. Ibrahim Jawondo (Chairman); Alhaja Raodat Omowunmi Yusuf; Mallam Umar Abdullah Sanda; Alhaja Rashidat Isiaka; Dr. Ajibola Abiodun Atoyebi; and Dr. S.O. Aboyeji (Secretary).

Lafiagi has the following as members of its own visitation panel: Prof. Ezekiel Tejumola (Chairman); Dr. Ameen Funsho Ahmed; Dr. Arinde Omotosho Williams; Alhaja Aminat Sulaiman Ibrahim; Mrs. Adejumo Christianah Bimpe; and Dr. Bashir Leke Ijaiya (Secretary).
