The newly appointed members of the ICPC management team are as follows: Dr. Musa Adamu Aliyu as the  Chairman / Chief Executive Officer, ICPC and Mr. Clifford Okwudiri Oparaodu as Secretary to the Commission, ICPC

Dr. Musa Adamu Aliyu, the new Chairman of the ICPC, is awaiting confirmation by the Nigerian Senate.

His nomination comes after the President granted the outgoing Chairman’s request for pre-end of tenure leave, commencing on November 4, 2023, in anticipation of the expiration of his tenure on February 3, 2024.

The position of Secretary to the Commission, held by Mr. Clifford Okwudiri Oparaodu, does not require Senate confirmation. His appointment takes immediate effect as directed by the President.

Dr. Musa Adamu Aliyu, who has been instrumental in far-reaching reforms as the Attorney General of Jigawa State since September 2019, boasts an extensive academic background with Bachelors, Masters, and Doctorate degrees in Law. He was also designated as a Senior Advocate of Nigeria in October 2023.

Mr. Clifford Okwudiri Oparaodu brings over 30 years of legal experience to the ICPC.

He has served with distinction in the public sector, having been a Member of the Rivers State Judicial Service Commission and Chairman of the Caretaker Committee of Port Harcourt City Local Government Council.

President Tinubu, however, urged the newly appointed ICPC management team to uphold the highest standards of integrity and impartiality as they execute their duties in addressing matters of corruption.
