YPP Aspirant Sponsor Inter-School Volleyball Competition In Oke-Ero LG, Promise To Invest More On Sport

Femi Julius Adebayo said sports is one of the major ways to engage, train and empower the youth.

The YPP House of Reps Aspirant for Irepodun/Isin/Ekiti/Oke-Ero federal constituency Asoju Odo Charles Olufemi Folayan has declared that sport development would be one of his top priorities when elected to the parliament come 2023.

Asoju Odo made this known while presenting prizes to the top three teams at the finals of the Oke-Ero local government Inter-School volleyball competition at Iloffa Grammar School yesterday.

Mr Folayan who was represented by the Speaker of the Kajola Student Union Comr. Femi Julius Adebayo said sports is one of the major ways to engage, train and empower the youth. He said, his understanding of the importance of grassroots sports development was the reason for the establishment of the Asoju Odo Sport Team in 2017.

” I congratulate you all today for taking this competition to a conclusion, this is one of the major ways we can engage, train and empower our youth. It’s with the understanding of the importance of grassroots sport development that I established the Asoju Odo Sport Team in 2017 and by the grace of God, we would invest more in sports when elected.

In his response, the coordinator of the games Mr Adeoye Adebowale expressed appreciation for Mr Folayan and pray that Almighty God continues to guide him and grant his heart’s desire.
