Yahaya Seriki Graces Baba Kamo’s Comedy Show, Vows Continued Support For Kwara’s Creative Industry

Seriki made the pledge during the special edition of the “Comedy Ward with Baba Kamo

Ilorin, Kwara State – President and CEO of Kursi Investment and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ambassador Abdulfatai Yahaya Seriki-Gambari, has reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the creative industry in Kwara State.

Seriki made the pledge during the special edition of the “Comedy Ward with Baba Kamo” show held on Saturday at the Kwara State Banquet Hall, Ilorin.

The event marked the 20th anniversary of Yahaya Habeeb Olatunji, popularly known as Baba Kamo, in the entertainment industry.

Speaking to journalists at the event, Yahaya Seriki praised Baba Kamo for his resilience, consistency, and dedication, noting that the comedian has played a pivotal role in drawing attention to local talents and elevating the entertainment scene in the state.

“I celebrate Baba Kamo today not only for his personal achievements but for his efforts in attracting and inspiring other creatives in Kwara,” Seriki said.

“Our creatives are doing great things, and they deserve our full support. I remain committed to promoting and investing in talents that showcase the best of our state.”

The event drew a notable crowd, including Hon. Muktar Shagaya, the member representing Ilorin West/Asa Federal Constituency, Alhaji Sheriff Shagaya, several state commissioners, and other dignitaries, all gathered to honour Baba Kamo’s two decades of contribution to the comedy and entertainment industry.
