Three Men Gang Rape 12-Year-Old Girl, Infects Her With STD In Imo
The victim is currently receiving intense medical care at the hospital.
Owerri, Imo State – Operatives of the Imo State Police Command have arrested three suspects for allegedly gang rape of a 12-year-old girl (name withheld).
The suspects identified as Joseph Onyema, ’m’, 35 yrs, Uzoma Nwanoreze, ‘m’, 30yrs, and Eberechukwu Nwosu ‘m’ age 43yrs,
Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the state police command, ASP Okoye Henry, disclosed that the suspects had unlawful carnal knowledge of the minor on different occasions which made her develop serious virginal injuries as well as a sexually transmitted disease.
According to him, “The victim is currently receiving intense medical care at the hospital. The suspects will have their day in court upon completion of a discreet investigation.
“The state Commissioner of Police Imo State Command, CP Aboki Danjuma while condemning the barbaric acts in totality, called on the well-meaning resident of Imo State to support the Police in the onslaught against defilement, rape, and other sexual related crimes in the State,” Henry said.
He added that such societal menace is utterly condemnable and perpetrators will be made to face the wrath of the law.
