Six police officers led by Inspector Sunday Amadi, were seen in a viral video assaulting some students with a cutlass.
The Imo state police command has commenced the orderly room trial of an Inspector of Police, Sunday Amadi, and five other officers for allegedly assaulting some civilians with cutlass in the state.
It would be recalled that six police officers led by Inspector Sunday Amadi, were seen in a viral video assaulting some students with a cutlass.
The spokesperson of the Nigerian Police Command, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, confirmed in an update given on Twitter said;
‘’The Imo State Police Command has commenced the orderly room trial of the policemen who were caught on a video flogging and assaulting a man in Imo State recently. The men are:.
1. Inspector Amadi Sunday (The Team Leader)
2. Inspector Amajuoji Charlse
3. Sgt Noachian Chinese
4. Sgt Onwuka Emmanuel
5. Cpl Nzewuodo Goodness
6. Pc Emmanuel Chmezie.”
