Police Arrest Suspect In Gruesome Murder, Dissection Of Romantic Partner In Ondo
The deceased was discovered in the suspect’s room with bound hands and legs. Her body had been dismembered, and her intestines removed.
A 45-year-old man named Bankole Oginni has been apprehended by the Ondo State police command for allegedly murdering his girlfriend in his Akure residence.
SP Funmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya, the command’s spokesperson, confirmed the incident to reporters and said the suspect, who purportedly identifies as a football coach, invited the victim from her house for a visit after which her line became unreachable.
Following a report by an unnamed individual, the incident was brought to the attention of the B Division Police Station in Akure’s Oke-Aro area. Subsequently, the suspect was apprehended as a result of the report.
According to her statement, the deceased was discovered in the suspect’s room with bound hands and legs. Her body had been dismembered, and her intestines removed. Disturbingly, patches on her body indicated evidence of burns from hot water.
She stated that the suspect had been arrested, while the remains of the deceased had been deposited in the morgue at a nearby hospital.
