Police Arrest Physically Challenged Drug Dealer In Lagos

His bag was searched and found in his possession were weed suspected to be Indian hemp

Ikeja, Lagos State– A 52-year-old physically challenged man, identified as Adamu Ileyasu, has been arrested by the operatives of the Lagos State Police Command for alleged drug dealing.

Spokesperson of the command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, who disclosed this on Friday, March 29, 2024, said the suspect was nabbed by officers attached to the Akinpelu Division.

“A physically challenged man has been arrested by officers from Akinpelu Division. Information was received from concerned Nigerians that he was a drug dealer.

“Upon his arrest, his bag was searched and found in his possession were weed suspected to be Indian hemp and tramadol capsules. Investigation is ongoing to apprehend his supplier and others in the supply chain.”
