Police Arrest Father For Allegedly Impregnating His daughter In Cross River
He claimed he had been separated from Amina’s mother for several years.
Calabar, Cross River- A 48-year-old man, Mallam Adamu Ibrahim has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting and impregnating his 15-year-old daughter, daughter, Amina Adamu Ibrahim in Cross River State.
It was gathered that the suspect, a resident of No. 27 Edem Odo Street in Calabar and a native of Bungudu Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
The suspect was arrested by the Zone Six Human Rights Unit on November 15, 2024 following the investigation initiated after Amina’s aunt, Aisha, filed a formal complaint.
In a statement released by the Zone Six Police Public Relations Officer (PRO), SP Nelson Okpabi, disclosed that the suspect denied the allegations during interrogation and was unable to provide an explanation for his daughter’s pregnancy
