Olawale Gbadeyan Appoints As Pioneer DG, KOZ Intervention ‘Igbeayerere Kwara’

Kwara State-born community development enthusiast Kayode Oyin Zubair, on November 23rd, 2021  launched KOZ Intervention (Igbeayerere Kwara) in the State with the sole aim of providing helping hands for the government of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq which has ingeniously improved the living conditions of our people.

According to a statement by his media aide on Sunday, Oludamilare Oluwagbamila said, a State like ours to record rapid socio-economic change there will be a need for all to be aboard of the progressive train.

“We deliberated and consulted very widely to have arrived at the choice of a young university don.”

The Director-General of this service-oriented organization is Olawale James Gbadeyan who is saddled with the role of leading our team that will work more at the grassroots to create an environment suitable for socio-economic growth.

Mr Gbadeyan was born in Esie, Irepodun local government area of the State more than three decades ago. He served in various capacities during the struggle to reclaim Kwara for Kwarans and was vocal in the liberation movement.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology and masters degree in peace and strategic studies. A member of many distinguished professional organizations in Nigeria and abroad. He lectures at the Federal University, Oye, Ekiti State and currently pursuing his PhD at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. He is also a co-winner of the prestigious NRF-Tetfund 2020.

He is happily married.

Igbeayerere Kwara birthed in 2018 has two right lawyers and a community development enthusiast as its trustees.

“We wish him God’s speed in the new assignment and others he may shoulder in future,” he said.
