NSCDC Reunites Missing Boy With His Parents In Zamfara
The boy was found in a garage by operatives of the Corps in Bauchi State while on routine patrol.
The Zamfara State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has reunited a young boy, Musaddiku Muhammad, with his biological parents at Magazu village in Tsafe local Government Area of the state.
This is contained in a statement by the Corps Public Relations Officer, Ikor Oche, the boy was found in a garage by operatives of the Corps in Bauchi State while on routine patrol.
“The boy was then traced to Zamfara State where he was taken from his parents to Bauchi for Quranic Studies in a place called Moroco quarters. He was therefore transferred to the office of the NSCDC Zamfara State Command for investigations on the 13th April 2023,”
According to him, “Preliminary investigations reveal that the said boy (Musaddiku Muhammad) hails from Magazu village of Tsafe local Government Area. Commandant MB Muazu therefore called on the Hakimi of Magazu village and the purported parents of the boy for identifications,”
“The Hakimi Ibrahim Maiwada was however given the lad for onward reunion with his parents,”
However, the State Commandant, Commandant MB Muazu, advised members of the public to be meticulous and careful of the kind of places they take their wards to for studies.
Meanwhile, Ibrahim Maiwada, the Hakimi of Magazu village has expressed joy over the reunion of the child with his parents.
Maiwada said that he will do all within his powers to forestall any future occurrence.
