Motor Boy’s Leg Crushed As Tanker Loses Control In Ogbomoso

One of the motor boys had one of his legs crushed in the accident but had been taken to LAUTECH Teaching Hospital.

Ibadan, Oyo State– A motor boy, working as an apprentice with a trailer driver, has been hospitalized following an accident in Ogbomoso, Oyo State.

It was gathered that a petrol-laden tanker, on Saturday afternoon, March 16, skidded and fell as it tried to negotiate the Takie roundabout in Ogbomoso, the apprentice’s leg was crushed in the accident.

He has been taken to Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH, Teaching Hospital in Ogbomoso.

An operative of Oyo State Road Transport Management Agency, ORTMA, who asked not to be named, confirmed the development.

He said, “One of the motor boys had one of his legs crushed in the accident but had been taken to LAUTECH Teaching Hospital.

“Our men upon seeing the accident quickly mobilized to nearby road junctions to stop traffic and control movement of people at the scene to prevent any untoward incident like a fire outbreak or more accidents.”
